Interviews And Evaluations
At Snelling Personnel, we believe that the more thorough we are at the onset, the more effective we will be at providing our customers with the absolute best people for the job.
All prospective employees are interviewed at our office, so we may observe their punctuality--the first test of a quality employee. After the applicant completes our in-depth Information Data Form (employment application) and Skills Inventory, our trained staff conducts a detailed seven-step interview, evaluating the
applicant's skills, experience, work history, employment goals, preferences, and availability.
Based on the prospective employee's skills and experience, we then administer a series of written and computerized evaluations based on your needs as the client.
If the position to be filled is a temporary or temp-to-hire assignment, and the Personnel Manager determines that the applicant is qualified to be a Snelling Temporary, then the I-9 and W-4 forms are completed.
Finally, the prospective employee is given an orientation of Snelling Personnel policies payroll procedures, and expectations. This eliminates misunderstandings, and ensures that you receive an informed employee, who is confident and prepared to go right to work on your assignment.

- We will complete thorough evaluations of our employees through phone contact, personal visits and our Quality Control Evaluation.
- An Account Manager or Personnel Manager will be present to help with all orientation and safety meetings that include any of our employees, if so desired.
- We will implement staffing procedures that will help increase production and cut turnover and absenteeism.
- There should be a designated person to be responsible for calling in additional employees for absentees, sickness, etc.
- We will provide 24-hour 7 day-a-week coverage with beeper service and an Availability List.
- We will monitor legal issues surrounding temporary usage and keep you informed and up-to-date.
- We will create a policy and procedures letter to your company specifications detailing all company procedures.
- We will provide a 4-hour guarantee on light industrial employees.
- We will provide an 8-hour guarantee on clerical employees.
